The E32 was a very successful "Siebener". It frequently outsold M-Bs´ W126 S-Class in its' home markets´ monthly unit sales competition, I recall. Granted, the W126 was 7 years old upon the presentation of the E32.

A genuinely beautiful car in its' day. It, along with the E38, made the most authentic, enthusiast-oriented "BMW statement" of all 7ers.

What appealed to me most about E32 was its ability in its SWB to be a driver aimed Performance luxury car and in LWB form the best seat in the house. It was balanced perfectly. You can see the DNA building blocks of the E32 in the W140 S-Klasse.
I remember Mercedes had about twelve for each stage of evaluation.
Then again BMW at LCI brought in V8 engines, a SWB 750i and Double Glazing like the W140.

I wonder today If that is damaged? Can it be repaired outwith the manufacturer network?

You can't beat an E32.

Absolutely loved it. You could even get the 735i with a manual. When the 750iL arrived with the V12 it was everything.

Oooo - tough one but I think the E38 does it for me a bit more:

For me the E32 will remain the pinnacle of BMW's elegance and also dominance. In fact this car didn't have any real competitor for a period of 4 or 5 years. The W126 was older with 7 years, didn't habe a V12 flagship and was a very comfy but also very clumsy car. Jaguar was almost not existing and AUDI had a pimped up 100 with a V8. While, the E38 had to face an extremely good competition: the almighty W140, the super technological first gen A8, the second generation of the Lexus LS 400.

Personally, I really like this color. Fits great for this car. Shadowline is a perfekt. I Think the LCI model will be liked by customers and will be a super sale.
