Wolf any update on 9G onto C and S?

^ It will take quite some time, as MB can't make enough 9Gs. It's a slow rollout probably to ensure quality. That's also why the CLS 400 doesn't have it yet, as MB anticipates this model may become quite popular in some markets.

"The company insider, who did not want to be identified, said the redesigned CLS-Class will have the nine-speed "in at least one engine combination," followed "by a slow rollout across the line." I feel like I am in love with the CLS63 all over again.

With this evolution, we get a chance to see that the S-Class has the Confident looking eyes for an automobile.
While the E and CLS has the dynamic looking eyes. (Really adds character imo.)

The rear light graphics should have been updated to the tube design being used on all of the new MB's. I guess the budget didn't allow for it.

Agreed, I pointed that out on page 5.
If you are rolling in that kind of money, you can create any kind of budget you want.
The rear of the CLS looks like it was left behind on this face/lift.

I thought they would have changed it, but I don't mind it being the same since I love the design on the rear lights. It's the new front bumper (especially AMG) that bothers me.

Hey @Wolfgang any idea how these new LED are changed when they're out? Do they replace the whole headlight?

^ Dealers may prefer to change the whole headlight. Alternatively one could get away with just replacing the LED array.

It's the new front bumper (especially AMG) that bothers me.

Pardon my late response. Long work day...
I would like to know what you do not like about the new front bumpers, please explain.
The standard model I believe is an improvement over the pre-facelift. I never liked the look of the front end on the standard CLS when it was introduced.
The lower central air-scoop reminds me of a Hyundai Elantra, so glad to see it go. The new one is more relaxed. I like the single bar on the grill better, not as busy looking.
The lower air scoops, (though not outstanding) looks better with the grill.





Sport package definitely adds more sport to the equation imo. The air-dams are more aggressive and there is a clear distinction between
the sport package and the standard CLS. You could hardly say this for the pre/facelift imo
