Well thanks for being a Douchebag Betty.

Of course I've checked this. That's just the way the car sits, it's much higher than the A4/A5. How about you post something more productive next time?

@Darkness_803 Looks beautiful!, thanks for the pics and welcome to GCF!

@Betty Swollocks car looks great on his pictures, not sure why the abrasive feedback.. maybe you are used to seeing this car with different wheels?, perhaps like the ones depicted on S3/A3 official pics like these ones?

I agree she looks a little higher than usual, but not sure why.. she still looks great though.

Nice. I quote you....

What are your guy's thoughts?

My thoughts are that it looks terrible. I genuinely thought the delivery blocks have been left on the suspension. The A3 Sedan is a great looking car. Those wheels are a nice design. The gaps between the wheels and the bodywork? Appalling.

If you don't want negative criticism then I suggest you don't post your photos on a public car forum asking people "what they think?" Or, maybe you just say "hey, look at my car I think it looks great so please tell me it looks great too".

If you'd just posted them I wouldn't have given you my opinion. When you solicit opinions then don't take offence when you get one that you don't like.

Abrasive? I simply said what I thought. He asked for people's thoughts and I told him what I genuinely think. It's as if the suspension blocks have been left on.

Now, he asked for an opinion and I gave him one. He then called me a "douche-bag" in return. Why are YOU not warning him?!

Hi again @Darkness_803

Had I known you were such a new member then I would have welcomed you. So, welcome.

My points still stand but I can see why you would have taken offence at what I wrote.

On reflection, I think your A3 looks great. It's a genuinely good looking car. The rims are really nice too. Those items have never been in doubt. BUT, I would maybe have a look at getting those gaps sorted because I've not noticed them being as big on other photos of the A3 Sedan.

Don't let me put you off coming on this forum. You'll like it I'm sure, and if you get any info on solving the gaps then do come back and fill us all in.

Is it not perhaps that the aspect ratio of the tyres is wrong? The wheels actually look too small by my reckoning. Sweet ride though, one of the best looking cars Audi has ever made.

To answer everyone's question of if something's wrong with the car, No.

This is a premium 2.0T Quattro A3. It game with the Base 17" rims because I didn't like the 18" they offered for $800 extra. So I purchased some 19's.

The car sits high itself, if you're not from America, you wont understand unless you've seen one. The non-S-line Audi A3 sits bout 1-1.5 inches higher than the S-line A3/ Audi S3 Sedan.

The ratio aspect of the 19 inch rims I bought, were 19x8 with a 45 mm offset 5x112 ratio. The Tires I bought were 235/35R/19 size. The OEM 19" rims(Only available in overseas) are 19x8.0 with a 49mm offset 5x112. The tires on the s-line A3 overseas are 235/35R/19.

I tried to match this because I'm very familiar with the measurements. However, I'm telling you all, there is nothing wrong with how the car sits so high, it's just the way it was made.

Thanks for the feedback.

Was in an A Class today. The interior is no where near as good as the A3. Some nice touches like the seats but A3 head and shoulders above the A class! The dash is way behind in particular and I hate how at each end of the dash where the doors meet its really chunky and doesn't flow into the door. There is no cohesion or flow with the lines. Way too many buttons and that centre display looks like an after market addition or a last minute thought by the interior designers. Really bad!
