:)

That is just my fav combo. Thanks. ;)

Wow!
That car, that colour, those rims! Perfection!

Anybody else thinks that the pattern in the grille is a little to shiny? It should be the same colour as the bumper pattern.

Audi will continue to offer black optics as optional, which takes care of the shiny grille

Yeah, but that normally just blacks out the chrome parts, right? The pattern in the grille still remains the same.

^ I wonder why they didn't use the new RS wheels on that example, which I think are some of Audis best looking wheels ever..

What are those little silver towers on either sides of the cylinder banks, fuel pumps?

WOWWW how nice this front end is. Really really like it!!

That's one hell of a system, great match with individual throttle bodies. That's what an RS car gives you I guess.

An RS4/5 engine doesn't have individual throttle bodies (when said as such it implies that each cylinder gets its own throttle valve) like the S65/85. The Audi engines have a pair of throttle valves feeding a conventional inlet system.

No, like Martin said, the 4.2 FSI engine doesn't have individual throttle bodies - just one conventional one - the thing called 'throttle valve module' in the pic below. (No, not the 'power flap' thing - which is something the ECU opens at high speed for additional air).

Normal fuel pump simply cannot provide the sort of pressure required for a direct fuel injection system so these type of engines have a secondary high pressure pump, closer to the injectors, to provide the necessary pressure.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
