A3/S3/RS3 [Official] 2013 Audi A3 cabrio


The Audi A3 is a small family car (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Audi AG since September 1996. The first two generations of the Audi A3 were based on the Volkswagen Group A platform, while the third and fourth generations use the Volkswagen Group MQB platform.

Audi A3 Cabriolet launched in India at Rs. 44,75,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The A3 Cabriolet is the first compact luxury convertible in the Indian market. The Cabriolet model is based on the A3 sedan which was launched earlier this year. Audi showcased the A3 Cabriolet at the 2014 Auto Expo. The overall design of the A3 Cabriolet is similar to the A3 sedan except for the aggressive front bumper and new 5 spoke 17 inch alloywheels. The S line package is standard on the Cabriolet. Audi hasn’t changed anything on the interior of the Cabriolet which is shared from the A3 sedan.

Audi has given light weight soft top for the A3 Cabriolet. The fabric roof is in K-design which can be controlled using the button in the central console and it can be operated upto 50 kmph. The Soft top can be opened or closed within 18 seconds. The Audi A3 Cabriolet is powered by a 1.8 L TSI engine producing 180 HP of power and 250 NM of torque. This engine is mated to 7 speed S-tronic dual clutch transmission. 0-100 kmph takes 7.8 seconds and top speed is 242 Kmph. The Audi A3 Cabriolet come to India as a CBU model.
