CLS [Official] 2010 Mercedes-Benz CLS

The Mercedes-Benz CLS (initially called the CLS-Class) is a series of executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz from December 2003 to August 2023. The original model was a four-door sedan based on the Mercedes E-Class platform, marketed as a four door coupé. An estate (shooting brake) model was later added to the model range with the second generation CLS.

All we need now is base pricing!!!!

Interesting how this car seems to have no P2, and all the P2 options are added into the P1.

Also, looks like there's no Arctic White, and in order to get a White, you have to splurge on the Diamond White.

God damn, love this picture! To me it's beautiful :D

And btw.. prices in Norway (:t-banghea) in USD:

CLS 300: 176K
CLS 500: 258K
CLS 63: 350K

And these are the prices... for now. They'll be even more espensive soon I think.
And the 63 will be priced higher.. according to Norway's page the E 63 is more expensive than the CLS 63. :eusa_doh:

Wonder what the option price for

* 047 – Alubeam Titanium Metallic

I have read on some other forums that back in 2007 it was as much as $12000 USD!

I have ordered a CLS in AUS to be one of the first and would love this paint option but not for $12k!

Good question! I too remember that color costing crazy much money!
Hope they've managed to make some changes to the production process or something, so that the price could go down. I mean, no sane person is going to pay that much money for simple paint on a car in the CLS price range. Potential SLR and SLS buyers might be interested, people who don't make millions a year probably aren't...

^Why is dude just running and smiling?

I have a theory. When he steps outside the building he realizes his car is stolen. At the same time his cell inside his bag starts ringing. From the ring tone he can tell it's his wife. He has been cheating on her, that's why he gets all sweaty and uncomfortable. He knows his wife has taken the car and is somewhere close. That's why he leaves the bag there and tries to run away. Just as he stops to breathe, he sees the headlights of a car. It's his wife who is speeding towards him. It's too late to try to jump away so he can't do anything but just smile. :t-hands::D

Lol..Your serious about that video! You might want to head to Hollywood and do some movie writing.

They've gotta stop with these goofy commercials of rejected males from "Sex And The City" auditions, playing the whole "business exec who's experiencing out of body moments due to his Mercedes-Benz".

Just show us the damn cars in the nice ways you do, leave the incoherent "story lines" out of it. Let us buyers enjoy our out-of-body experiences on the real, unscripted. :D

I dropped by my local M-B dealer earlier today, looking forward to the showroom presentation of the new CLS. I was disappointed to then hear that the presentation will take place this coming Wednesday.

But, I was able to get a close look at the new CLS anyway. In the back lot, there were 2 350 CLS CDIs' that just rolled off of the transporter yesterday evening. One in a metallic black, the other a medium metallic grey, both unprepped covered with shipment wax and various stickers. Yet it was still the first opportunity that I have had to view the car IRL and close up.

It is really a very nice car and seeing it IRL has me appreciating it, understanding its' design far better than any photographs could. Very elegant and dynamic, gives the impression of being longer and wider than its' actual exterior measurements imply. The interior looked absolutely top notch and very nicely appointed, far more elegant than that of the E-Class sedans. And despite the cars being fitted with rather standard looking 5 spoke 18" wheels, they looked substantial and had great stance. This is a good indication of just how well the exterior design has been executed. With the AMG sports package, slightly lowered with larger rims, this car will look absolutely killer ! I also have a hunch that the new CLS will look good in almost any color.

This car will do very well in terms of unit sales.

My $0.02.

It's pretty annoying how they keep generalizing the M-B buyer. Executive slick man with a suit (all their ads for the CLS depict a guy who seems otherwise rigid, but let's loose by buying a CLS, or in this case, vice-versa in a sense).

It's clear how they're marketing the CLS: Passion. Letting go, freedom, etc. Although, this ad is kind of contradictory toward that, but uses a similar theme.
