I don't really mind it's a repost... it happens. Let's just try some tolerance, unless it's actually personally offensive.

Also hoping they'll be updating the COMAND interface, that is something for me where Merc is really behind.

Loving those new headlights. I wonder if the new CLS will get the same treatment.

Settle down Betty. I did a quick check of the preceding posts, but forgot to check the previous page. It's my mistake, but really is it such a big deal? We're are allowed to make mistakes now and then on a forum aren't we? Fair enough if someone is a serial offender in which case a whinge would be warranted, but this was an honest mistake. I'm sorry.

Betty did that same mess to me. Thanks to the ignore feature, I don't have to deal with her any more.

BTW...Some of the pics load after I post not sure if this is happening to anyone else.

I don't get why people on this forum get all angry and up in arms about a repost. So it's a repost, just skip over it and move on. It's really not that hard. Complaining about how people don't search won't do anything.

Exactly!

Good grief. About an hour ago I explained my reasoning for getting a bit fed up of reposts and I also made my peace with Mr Mercedes. I explained that "fair enough, if it was a genuine mistake then no hard feelings", but my post has now disappeared.

I agree, it was off topic, but it would be nice for people to know that I accept sometimes reposts happen without it being deleted by a mod. And if it's going to be removed, why ONLY my off topic post instead of everybody else posting off topic?

Oh yes, because it's always somebody else's fault. YOU are one of the worst for reposts, so instead of hitting out at me, why don't you pay a bit of attention once and a while? You constantly repost the same things without looking for a moment to see if it's been posted before. You're so desperate for "thanks" from other people.

So the rear lights on the E Coupe/cabriolet remain unchanged ?

I mean in terms of size, of course they'll get new internals.

The PM system exist for a reason, use it.

On the whole repost thing, I can see where Betty is coming from. In a thread like this we're (or at least I am) opening the thread in hopes of truly new information being presented or even maybe the actual car in question. It is annoying to look at the same pics or video that was just posted on the previous page. A lot of the key people who say its no big deal are some of the ones that do it, and/or post a lot of irrelevant junk anyways. It makes people not want to read the thread. On and on with the same pics over and over again. I personally don't see the need to post a Black Mercedes in camo and then turn around and post a silver one wearing the same camo, it doesn't tell you anything new, but hey thats just me. These threads would be a lot shorter and lot more informative if there wasn't so much junk posted here about what this looks like and what looks like (with stupid pics) and all of the CGIs posted that clearly look nothing like the car in question. Just my take on it.

Very well said. It's very true that the ones who say "no big deal" are mostly those who are guilty of reposting or posting generally useless info (this post excluded).

I understand both sides, but it's also boring to come looking for new info and end up seeing over a page of discussion about reposts and who is right or wrong. It's quite a lot more than 1 repost.

That being said, I do like that people are allowed to discuss things here that are loosely related to the thread*, but not necessarily on it. Maybe I am an offender of that. LOL

I was wondering if the new COMAND interface would appear on the W212 FL...
Yeah if you are talking about the new one ln the 2013MY but if you are talking about the redesigned interface in the w222 I wouldn't think so. I got a feeling that the redesigned interface is meant to be a speacialty for the s class

I only post when there is a noticeable amount of camo dropped or something shown that's worth mentioning I also find it irrelevant to post two of the same cars with the same amount of camo but it is unnecessary to grips at someone about a repost

The point I was trying to make was that you're over-reacting. Don't read he repost and move on.

I REALLY hope that Mercedes starts including bigger Nav screens into their cars. It's one of my major gripes with current Mercedes-Benz cars.

And why do they use this iPad-like display? To attract younger people or what...?

Does anybody know will E63 have RWD (I know that there will be an 4matic)?
I do not think so. What we know, they will go for the 900NM version so it would make no sense, because if they are not able to transfer to the road 700NM or 800NM they will not be able to do it with more power. I also believe the 4matic will be at least 0,5 sec quicker to 100km/h so the rwd would have a huge disadvantage.

This is from Sydney morning herald, what a guy from AMG said: "Next year there will be a presentation of a new all-wheel-drive concept," he says. "It's absolutely necessary, our competitors have all-wheel-drive [cars] in the performance segment, so we have to do that too. "To compare the performance, especially the torque - 900Nm - you cannot bring that to the street," he says.
"If you want to be a member of the club with cars that have 0-100km/h times of around 3.0 seconds, then you need to have all-wheel-drive for your sports cars.
"The traction is a little bit of a problem for us, and we can solve this problem with all-wheel-drive.
"It's a good idea to have all-wheel-drive. We just think about that because we won't bring the power and the torque to the road if you always lose the grip and the [traction control system] kills all the power and torque," he says. AND HE ALSO SAID THIS: "Front-drive cars are for children,". http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/amg-to-go-awd-20121117-29ifz.html
