Guys i own two W204 c class and the interiors are strong and solid my C220cdi has almost 60 thous kilos and i have touch wood not had a single problem or reliability the dash and interor design may not be to some peoples liking but the quality and built is brilliant and better the the two W211 e we had so anynone who says the quality is crap i am sorry i expierence the car everyday you are wrong.

as for the C no one said its a horrible car! but when compared to the Bmw 3er.....i am sorry but the C is not as the same level as the 3er, i know each of us has his own opinion but the 3er is better than the C in almost every aspect,like it or not.
again, that doesn't make the C a horrible car, infact its a well put together car.(imo)

so........umm....any more votes for the 5er vs E-class?

Exactly, nobody is saying the C sucks. Anybody can say what they will, and opinions can differ, but to me, and about anyone who's sat in the many C's I've driven, the interior quality is embarrassingly cheap, and crude. Every time I get in one I cringe in dissappointment and discomfort from my surrounding.

I guess we all have different expectations and standards in what we like to feel from our interiors. I feel M-B deserves complaint there as complaints get action.

Maby to you but that`s not what the reports are saying.
The 2010 BMW 3-Series actually scored lower in the "features and accessories quality mechanical"
catagory compared to the 2010 C-Class in the JD Power ratings.

This is just one study. Consumer Reports (along with a few others I`ve seen) actually recommends the C-Class as a very good car. The C also beet the 3-series in most quality scores with Consumer Reports magazine.

I`ll have to agree with most here who say the design of the interior comes up a bit short. What of the face/lifted C. The design I think is far better than the previous version and might be the best in class.

This is how it looks today The diff between the FL of the W204 is larger than the diff between the whole line up of audi and BMW interiors..haha

The facelifted C-Class looks absolutely top-notch in pictures, I cannot wait to sit in it!
I love the two-color area below the air vents, aluminum trim is looking very sharp but I'm not sure how good it will look with wood.
The steering wheel's shape is so perfect, I love the aluminum part and the sculpted indentations on the side. In the steering wheel department, Mercedes is years ahead of Audi and BMW.

Yeah, the f/l C-Class def has the best interior in it`s class, it`s pretty awesome!

I prefer the 3 series interior, the C class could be take straight out a Lexus IS. So ordinary.
