Sound good, but I hope that the "3 spoke steering wheel" will not have the design of the SLK and C-Class one. That would be absolutely horrible. But it's great that there are only such little changes, because there are a lot of used CLS around - so for everyone who like the prefacelift version, there is still the chance, to drive the "old" one! :D

Is that the full command system, shouldn't it come with 6.5" display? The Birdview should be useful, I thought MB had it and then removed it.

This is the 3 spoke wheel. It also shows the white dials.

Thanks for all these information!! But this steering wheel is absolutely horrible!! :t-hair: Where is the elegance of the prefacelift CLS? It's just ... sorry, but then I like the current CLS most!! I also dislike the "white" instruments. It looks perfect on the E-Class Avantgarde, but it doesn't harmonise to the CLS, in my opinion!! The new exterior is great, but the interior is definitely "disimproved"! :t-hands:

Yeah I have to say I don't like that MB is putting this steering wheel everywhere. It appears the SL facelift is going to get it too. Must be a cost cutting measure, cutting down on the number of steering wheels being made. Yuck, but oh well MB is doing so much right now something had to give.

This could be the reason for this "move"! But it's sad, because every car has its own character (interior and exterior) and I'm not that happy, that every car will get the same steering wheel. It's also a way of differentiation and this isn't given anymore, when every Mercedes has the same type of steering wheel. :t-hands:

Yeah I know what you mean, but back in the day they all pretty much did, of the bus-size variety..lol. The 201, 124, 126, all had the same wheels for years it seems, only different sizes toward the end of their respective production runs.

Right, I can remember. But the fact is, that I don't like the new steering wheel. :D But there will be possibilties to change it - nevertheless I don't have the money to buy a Merc at the moment - so it doesn't really affects me!

Thanks again!! Mirror doesn't look that bad, in my opinion! Have to see it in reality, though.
