interior is looking interesting..
SLS inspired:)

^yes...cause i cant see all of it..;)

If its copy paste..ile call it copy paste..
So far it looks inspired..

Not many interiors in the current line up of MB that are copy pastes;)
So dont worry

Exactly! The Z4 on the other hand is a small car, but it seems roomier then this. This thing is tiny.

As tiny as this car is, it better handle better than the Z4 them. Otherwise, MB should be ashamed if they make this little thing heavy and can't handle as well as the Z4.

Exactly and the SLK AMG should be extremely fast as well. I really hope it doesn't come out looking like a mini-SLS like the previous model did with the SLR.

I don't want the freakin' SLK AMG to take on the 35i based Z4. I want the regular SLK to take on the Z4...otherwise that's cheating cuz Z4 aint got no ///M variant.

:t-rot: HoH is easily impressed if AMG can beat a standard Z4 :D

Did you see the statement I made? -

There was NO mention of me comparing the SLK AMG to the Z4. Only thing we were talking about is the actual size of the SLK had how it should benefit in handling due to it's small size.

One thing I must say regarding the SLK and Z4, even though I am a Mercedes fan. The SLK always strikes me as the mini version of the SL, its overall shape pleasing yet reminding me that this car is trying to simply provide a smaller dose of something else. Whereas, the Z4, though comparable in size, gives you the impression that it is a car fully aware of its identity, and not the entry level version of something else. Compared to the SLK, the Z4 has more soul, at least design-wise.

I get what you're saying here and I agree for the most part, but I think that is because Mercedes has always had a big roadster so everyone just got that perception since Mercedes introduced the SLK. That and that fact that Mercedes really only knows how to do a wedge shape for their roadsters, unlike BMW. The Z4 and the old Z8 have more of an old-school cab-backwards, long hood, short deck design than any of the Benz roadsters. I agree, the Z4 is one gorgeous little roadster, but without any larger BMW roadster it at least appears to stand on its own designwise. Not saying that it doesn't, but smaller version of x,y,z isn't there without a larger BMW roadster.

I completely agree. Since BMW doesn't have an equivalent bigger brother to the SL, the Z4 stands alone and appears to have it's own identity.
