Easily, one of the prettiest cars that Mercedes-Benz has ever made.

And I'm old enough to remember that the CLS was one of the hottest cars in the market back then, especially the CLS 55 AMG. And when it came to the 55 AMG version, black with the 19-inch 5 spoke wheels and black interior, was THE combination to go with. Just like the one pictured above.

I'll be sad when the CLS goes out of production.

This car absolutely floored me when I saw the concept in the metal at the 2003 IAA. A big moment for automotive design aficionados like myself.

I adored everything about this vehicle, apart from the headlights.

The chief designer even made a brief appearance on this forum at the time.
