M3/M4 Leaked - BMW M3 Touring

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M
The rear of this car looks fantastic and is the best view. Love those flared wheel arches.
It has the best rear 3/4 view of any BMW. As a bonus, the muscular lines make the bumper reflectors look small.

Tuners are going to have a field day with spacers, alloys and dropped ride height.

The M3 Touring is one of the most desirable BMW products, for me, right now. That stupid screen they slapped on the dashboard, though, spoils the whole interior. The only major problem I have with this one, is the front end. I simply can't digest it.
Mostly agree with you on your judgment, except the front which I start getting used to when I see it IRL (still cannot digest it in pictures though).

From the antipodes of pro touring thinking, wasn't it more obvious to make an M4 GC than this one?

I don't know how the touring sells but the GC is currently a success.

Work for the i4 M50?
Cannibalism with the M3?

We don't see many touring variants in the states (SUV's everywhere), however I would buy one of these.

A touring makes more sense than a GC. It provides a genuine low centra of gravity but practical alternative to the SUVs.

This wagon is hot as hell! There’s another one for the Ultimate Garage…
Wait till you see Daytona Violet Individual from the E36.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
