The alloys resemble the ones on the OG M2. However the brake rotors are not drilled.

Exactly, the same thing I thought when I saw them, they are like a new version of the M2 wheels, maybe smaller and they look more updated, which is great because the M2's are a beauty, I don't see them as the 792m since they look more modern and nicer

Fingers crossed the new M2 won't have a prilapsing rear box like the M2 Competition. It's looks super unattractive in person and reminiscent of a cow udder.

I hope it'll be something unique. Like a proper mix of Z4 and G20. Z4 console is a bit too angular for my taste.

I had not thought about it, hopefully and as I read in 2 series they say it will be the same platform of the Z4, it is possible that it has it, the Z4 is quite wide and its dashboard has obvious differences despite the similarity that make it very sporty and special, but in de "2" it has to be updated incorporating certain surprises of the new "screens world"

They also say out there, that the M2 will share the platform of the M4 cropped, they will then use these two platforms? or are they just fantasies

Z4 platform sounds very logical and smart. Interior is going to be very interesting to see what happens indeed. If the 3er/4er, X5/6 all get the curved LCD screen with their facelift, surely the 2er will come with it from the beginning?
