The current 2 is just so beautiful, and it’s seems like a very backwards design to me.

I quite like it in general lines, although camouflaged it still hides many essential keys.
Although the grid should basically be the same, it seems to be more inverted than the leaks.

Pretty sure the single headlights and the loop with center dot taillights have been designed with the 1600/2002 in mind and the spirit of the latter will be invoked at launch (we've already had a pretty suggestive hint with the 2002 Hommage Concept), just like the spirit of the 3.0 CSi was invoked by the designers at the 4er's launch.

I'm not sure about the sculpting around the headlights.

I was not a fan of the current 2er at first and now it's my favourite BMW.

That is a super leak, the sun even cooperates for the photo, those shoulders look very good and the proportions are worthy and even better than I expected, the sheet metal looks precise, but we will have to wait to see if it is as it seems here, it looks more like an M2 than a normal 2 series

The side looks so good. The simplicity of the side, with the fender flares reminds me heavily of the E30 M3.

Not a fan of the headlights and taillights so far, hopefully it looks better once revealed.

I read somewhere that production of the new M2 will commence in December 2022. However I wouldn't be surprised if it debut sooner given that the engine S58 is already in the X3/X4m and M3/M4.

BMW unveiled the X6M just 3-4 months after unveiling the X6.
