Now, unlike some, I am one of the few that has a certain level of respect for the cars developed by CvK and Co...However, despite all the publicity they have (i.e. huge horsepower, some acceleration and speed records, recently-established reputation for innovation and what not), it seems the sales are never really on par with the likes of Pagani or Bugatti, let alone the recent hypercars from Ferrari, McLaren or Porsche...
Does anybody REALLY know why? I do understand that taste is subjective, but there must be some concrete reasons for them to have sold only around 140-150 cars since they sold their first in late 2002. It almost feels as though, no matter what they do, they are still somewhat undesirable, at least in the eyes of those fortunate enough to afford a car of the mentioned price range
Looking forward to everyone's input, as all opinions are welcome (even those including personal taste).
