Knowing that he is obsessed with "giga" and "mega" IMHO such an option for Teslas would greatly reduce the comfort.Kinda thing Elon would do, as a way of integrating Starship into Tesla.

Something similar was said by Epictetus and Socrates, I didn't understand them eitherJaguar is the automotive equivalent of someone finding a sports bag full of money hidden under a shrub handing it in your Porsche Dealer and driving home.
The biggest issue with the EVs from before 2022 was that the manufacturers were losing money with each sold unit. The more units they sell, the more money they lose. That's another point where Tesla are unique. They are making money out of their EVs and they want to sell more.A new electric car won’t save Jaguar either. 15k iPace were sold in 2021, only 11k in 2022. They missmanaged the car. No hot versions or variants with interesting body kits etc.
What will screw up Jaguar even more, is that an electric Range Rover will launch in 2024, a year before a new Jaguar one. Today there is plenty of EV choices by BMW, Kia, Tesla, Mercedes, Audi and Ford. Who’s waiting for a new Jag EV and what will it offer that’s not already on the market. We don’t live in 2018 when the iPace debuted and choices on the market were extremely limited.
Pretty much but probably completely reimagined. The bigger picture is that Jaguar won't die. Data will invest £15billion over the next 5 years. That's a sizeable commitment to the brand and will end uncertainty for employees.Wasn’t this not the Panamera fighting XJ Replacement?
They should have unveiled it at Shanghai to gain momentum.Pretty much but probably completely reimagined. The bigger picture is that Jaguar won't die. Data will invest £15billion over the next 5 years. That's a sizeable commitment to the brand and will end uncertainty for employees.
It's good that Gerry McGovern is spearheading the design for the next Jaguar. A redesign is needed.
McGovern loves his own designs too much and is fearful of copy cats. They should have unveiled it at Shanghai to gain momentum.
Sometimes I think the same, certain leading brands give one or two years of advantage to copiers by presenting conceptsMcGovern loves his own designs too much and is fearful of copy cats.
They can always copy your parts, especially in China, in Shanghai 2023, they don't waste time, they already copied the Maybach EQS SUV....McGovern loves his own designs too much and is fearful of copy cats.
Hope that wont be the new Jag it looks dog ugly lol. They can always copy your parts, especially in China, in Shanghai 2023, they don't waste time, they already copied the Maybach EQS SUV....
This is why concept cars are useful for rebrands and entirely new cars. It's been at least 15 years since Jaguar saloons were competitive and relevant.I personally think Jaguar has not been marketed and managed very well and that is why they a dying brand.
The outline and profile is successful. Almost Rolls-Royce (Giles Taylor's influence) Garish detailing not so.They can always copy your parts, especially in China, in Shanghai 2023, they don't waste time, they already copied the Maybach EQS SUV....
