3 Series It's almost here: the new 3-series Coupe!

The BMW 3 series is a line of compact executive cars manufactured by the German automaker BMW since May 1975. BMW's best selling model, it is the successor to the 02 series. Since 2013, the coupé and convertible models have been marketed as the 4 Series. The M version of the 3 series, the M3, debuted with the E30 M3 in 1986.

I can't remember one thing that was said that was actually fresh new info and that became reality.

That's because when it actually happened, everyone have forgot the "inside" info that Scott/Tine provided... I believe to them both.

:t-cheers:

- banks of Loch Lomond, Scotland UK
- streets of Madrid, Spain
- BMW studio, Munich

Sapphire Black and Ultramarine Blue cars were used. One of them was petrol turbo, the other diesel.

Lots of road driving shots, helicopter sweep shots, shots of driving on the winding roads on the banks of Loch Lomond. A Wintry-Autumny sun dancing along the body for stunning lighting effect. Also some highly dramatic shots with leaves blowing as the coupe zooms past.

Best shots BMW ever made - still and motion.

:D

PS: no PR on Press Club site, so it is evident embargo is really extended :t-banghea That means few more days in painful waiting. :t-banghea

How could someone possibly know this without being a real source? Ofcourse it could all be made up, but then someone need some serious help :) Where did you get this Tine, please tell me. Source or have you actually seen the images?

I remember when Scott talked about the new engines. For instance that 650i was to replace 645i. A few weeks later we could read about it in carmags and on internet.
I think its dangerous to tell exact day and week when we will see pictures, such things changes.

I'm not making it up!
I'm just a messenger.

When I told P. (the journalist guy) the forum people would eat me alive if the story was made up, he assured me everything he was telling me was true.

Scott also said to blaim it on him and to remined you on the line "don't shoot the messenger".

Btw, our national BMW distributor presented MY 2006 cars (we officially start the new MY at the begining of the calendar year) - and that was the "big something" for Dec 20. :t-crazy2:
Their guy from PR dept. still claims they have got the initial E92 presentational material.

Believe me. I'm not that stupid to put all my reputation over the forums at risk for nothing. I believe in my sources, and believe they are right and that we will see the E92 very soon. I hope that not ends like the "Iraq has WMD" story. :eusa_doh:

What we have now is: description of some photos, background identification, colours of press cars (Scott also said 4 new colours yet not available on E90 will be initially introduced with E92), some lines from press material, 330HP, 0-100kmh in 5.5s, initial engines (320d, 330d, 325i, 330i and 335i), no ZSG mentioned.

Enough evidences to put sources "on trial" when press release hits the media.

Exactly. He knows a lot about some stuff in detail, and nothing at all about the other. Don't expect he would know all what is happening at BMW.

I remembered when he told us about some PR was coming, and at the end PR came - a week later.

Tine, won't there be smaller engines, like 320, 318?
In greece, E46 316 and 318 sold like hot cakes!

I don't know. Maybe later. :t-hands:
I was told about initial engines only (available at launch).
Scott mentioned a while ago 335d could also be offered in the future.
