3 Series It's almost here: the new 3-series Coupe!


The BMW 3 series is a line of compact executive cars manufactured by the German automaker BMW since May 1975. BMW's best selling model, it is the successor to the 02 series. Since 2013, the coupé and convertible models have been marketed as the 4 Series. The M version of the 3 series, the M3, debuted with the E30 M3 in 1986.

The anticipation is so high - but like a lot of things you wait for it may turn out to be disappointing.
 
BTW, isnt german companies closed from the 23 till the 9th of january. The company i work for does, and its also a car manufacurer. (Sort of)

Strictly my observations:

In previuos year there were some cases BMW did release some PRs in Dec 19 - 23 period. But those were minor releases: concerning prices for coming year, new MY updates, announcement of new engines in some models, BMW on NAIAS announcement. But no new models announcements. :eusa_thin

Statistics is not on our side. :crying

If there is no PR released today or tomorrow, we will probably have to wait for it until Jan 9 - 20. :t-banghea

The E92 Coupe was shown in Munich along with the Z4 Coupe last night (Dec 20).

It was an exclusive BMW pre-Christmas gathering for business partners, representitives and editotrs. The PR (including general info and pics, stills from movie of both E92 and Z4 coupe) sent days ago was for the invited and was sent for the Dec 20 - the mistake in the PR was about 325i, because there will be 328i instead. So - no 325i, but 328i.

So, the journalist and PR guy of representative were right about PR, but misled about being for general public. It was not!

Both coupes will be revealed to general public in January: early for the E92, and late for the Z4 Coupe (including Z4 M Coupe).

Btw, Peter - my journalist friend - admited he got the press release (what was actually an invitation) from some BMW guy. The info he gave me and the pics he showed me were real! He doesn't have a clue when the real press release hits.

This confirms what "you-know-who" said in his latest info!

And as I said Jan 9-20 would be the time frame when something would happen. :eusa_danc

I hope some pics will leak out even before - like the ones from 6er Coupe and Cabrio internal presentation a while ago.
