A6/S6/RS6 Info, Renders, Spy Pics - Next Gen A6 (C7) Avant

Anyone run across any pics yet? Dying to see what the rear looks like.

Also, any definitive word on whether or not they will bring it to the US this time around?

I don't know? I heard they were sometimes late-availability for purchase in the US, but didn't know if that applied to the release of photos. That sucks if true.

Sorry I didn't see your post. Simply answer is not yet (obviously), like Scott said it should be shown in the latter half of next year.

Dude, the problem with asking over and over in the other thread is that everyone there is too busy throwing in their $.02 about how they like this, they don't like that, etc. There's a reason most of the Audi forums out there have a section for Avants only. It's because Saloon lovers don't care about about Avants. Obviously all of the conversation in those two threads is centered around the saloon.

CLEARLY a new thread specific to Avants, where Avant lovers can discuss teaser pics, release dates, options, pricing etc. WITHIN the Audi>A6/S6/RS6 Allroad subforum is MOST CERTAINLY a legitimate thread.

I for one sure hope the rear doesn't look like a C6 with different lights. My B8 Avant rear end looks NOTHING like the B7. You comment further illustrates my point.

So you're saying there should be no separate threads discussing Avants, S6's, RS6's, etc? ALL of these specific future variations of the new A6 should also be discussed within the two existing new A6 threads? That's gonna' be a pretty crowded little party in there my friend.

Please. I'm not trying to start a pissing match with you here. Just trying to drill down to the specific model (and relative discussions) I am most interested in, without troubling all you non-Avant lovers out there.

Thanks Footie! That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping to get my hands on an Avant as soon as the A6 hits the US, but it sounds like if they don't even show it until the latter-half of '11, then I might be waiting a lot longer than expected. I had hoped for a late-Summer/Fall '11 delivery. Not gonna' happen then, huh? Boo. I'll start praying now for Geneva in March at least.

Guess we'll have to keep on lovin' our B8's for another year!

A plus note will be that after it's revealing it will be on sale there after.

As a fellow B8 Avant owner I much prefer the looks of the Avant over Saloon but I also prefer the bigger Audi Avants than the smaller ones and the C7 will be no different.

Well, but this is somehow a given when talking about a VAG car, they will always be similarities between one or teo models (or an entire brand, LOL).
