What are the prospects of retractable headlights ever returning on a Ferrari or Honda?
Maybe if they bring out some Hommage to the 308? It looked so beautiful with lights on and off. Down or up whatever makes you excited lol.

I was not aware of ABS-Evo. It's a brake-by-wire system that enables the car to trail brake for you going into a corner. Geez!

I think I like it!🙂

Almost identical to best 720S magazine numbers as well - which is pretty much as expected.

...at least with the press car, that is. I will be interested, once Drag Times or someone get their hands on one, to see if customer cars can match it.

I believe it will produce 720S numbers with a much better throttle response so it will “feel” quicker. To me, the car did not feel 765 quick. Which makes sense. It will be about .5 seconds slower 100-200 (I routinely get 4.0/4.1 seconds 100-200 in my 765). Difference is 296 will put power down better from launch. Traction control and extra weight will help here.

This is from the Autocar test. I'll triple check which one (~England game is priority today, obviously LOL!) but issue is I believe only Autocar tested the Mclaren P1 and I can't remember a straight "km/h"test.

They do two way averages and stuff I know but still those times when I first saw them I was thinking Holy Trinity. It needs more looking at though, I concede. But that 1km time is very interesting.

I’ve never ran the standing kilometer in my 765 so I can’t comment on a time. My best 1/4 is 9.7. @ 149 mph so maybe extrapolate that against that P1 video. 17.5 seconds is good approximation. The speed would be over 300 km/h.

From what I could see in my 720S archives, it's better than the 720S actually...
