M2 [Hot!] BMW M2 (2022) G87

The BMW M2 is a high-performance version of the BMW 2 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. As the 2 Series replaced the 1 Series coupé and convertible models, the first-generation M2 was marketed as the most basic M model in the range. Official website: BMW M
In the Autogefuel video the chap mentioned that BMW say 20% of current M2 owners track their cars. Seems on the high side to me, but of all the M cars I'd accept that it was the most heavily tracked model.
Look, in my statement of "99%" I took some creative license to try and convey that it's "very few people". But that figure of 20% of all M2 owners - I just don't buy it - not globally at least.

M performance parts - front bumper looks much better blacked out.

The grille however, looks like it’s missing its trim. The frameless design works well on the M3/4, but I’m not so sure here.

I would wrap the outline black.

I need to see it IRL before making a final judgement regarding the exterior design, however it definitely looks much better in these videos and photo's versus those baby blue leaked pictures. As mentioned previously, I agree that the dash/screen looks completely out-of-place in this car.

What are the waves in the paint? it looks disgusting. I guess the ugliness in the design wasn't enough

It's fascinating that this is at the opposite end of the scale of the XM across size, weight, price and power.

It's not as pretty as the previous version but looks more butch. Some of the details look odd like the squared off front intakes. Has the potential to be one of the best M cars at the moment. 1800kg weight is massive for a 4580mm car.

Looks better here ,but alas I find this to be the least attractive new BMW, but as a BMW fan I'll probably see one in the metal and love it.

Kudos to BMW...a 6 speed manual , compact ( albeit porky) RWD and a 6 cylinder in front ...many don't make them like this anymore in 2022. Lucky are those who will be able to afford it. The last "pure" ///M ICE car.

Compact? 4,6 x 1,9 meters and over 1700 kg…
A Yaris GR is compact…

Yeah. It's only 200kg lighter than an M5 which has a twin turbo V8, AWD, big comfy seats, more speakers, four doors and a bigger boot.

The M2 is not a pocket rocket.

Good to see a red introduced. Surprisingly although never introduced the previous M2 did suit the Imola Red in which I have seen one which could be a wrap? But since it’s Munich it could be an employee and an exclusive individual treatment. My selection.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
