Yes. More engaging due to the shorter wheelbase and smaller proportions. But not as raw as F87Do you find the M2 a better drivers car than the M4?

It's rival is the M4. They are too close to each other. Even the price difference is not so big any more. The biggest advantage of the M4 is that it is made in Germany and not in Mexico. From what I gauge by the reviews. Behind the wheel, the M2 is in a nutshell an M4 with:
-Stiffer front suspension
-Softer rear suspension
-Tweaked M differential software
This results in a more entertaining handling but could have drawbacks on bumpier road. If you own a G80/G82, you would probably fit aftermarket springs to nudge its characteristics a bit closer to the M2. This is especially a worthwhile option if you like the design, customisation and extra power.
On merit the M2 is still a fantastic sportscar that’s well equipped and hardly has any rivals.
Yupp. Like Audi S3 vs TTS.It's rival is the M4. They are too close to each other. Even the price difference is not so big any more.
Is that really an advantage? The biggest advantage of the M4 is that it is made in Germany and not in Mexico.
Experience is a great factor when quality is concerned. Is that really an advantage?
Yes the 2er and M2 are manufactured in Mexico. But to BMW quality 1 standards conceived, evaluated and taught in Germany. It's rival is the M4. They are too close to each other. Pretty much. Hardly any main stream manufacturer mentions weight in press releases unless it's a 20kg reduction from removing door bins, central arm storage and fitting a CF bonnet.Horsepower sells. Weight is no issue.
When a order a car that‘s built in Germany I avoid October allocation slots.I heard that Mexican robots put in less hours and drink too much tequila.
The people working there are with different consciousness. This is of great importance when any emerging problem has to be overcome. I can give you tons of examples. 10 years ago I had an issue with my American made E70. The rear left window was not opening correctly and it turned out that the rope of the el mechanism was not for the X5 but for the X3 (it's with different lenght). I doubt that this would happen in Germany.I heard that Mexican robots put in less hours and drink too much tequila.
Well, my G20 is made in Mexico and it's the best-built (by far) car I've ever owned. My wife's G01 X3 LCI is made in SA and feels incredibly similar in terms of solidity and tactility. It's also very solidly finished off. I think car manufacturing has gotten sophisticated enough for supply chain and production standardisation to ensure a very high proportion of commonality in terms of quality. The people working there are with different consciousness.
