The throttle response on that 2ltr engine is phenomenal. It seems to have huge punch from low down. the acceleration from 120km/h to 180km/h within a few seconds is certainly a big punch in the seat.

The car's tech is simply incredible! But it's just not enough to make up for the lack of V8 and the weight of +2100kg.

Maybe in a few years time we'll appreciate this configuration more, but for the moment it's simply "too early" I think.

Even the C300 looks good in the road. It’s prolly best looking C ever for me.

Yeah it's a really really good looking compact sedan, that I hope they don't butcher with the EQ line, like they did with the E and S.

Praying that we get at least an I6 (or better yet a V8) facelift/LCI refresh.

Mercedes made the same mistake that BMW made with the i8, with the new C63. no one wants phev nonsense in high performance.
Actually, it's not nearly the same mistake. The i8 had no predecessor, no reputation to tarnish. So let's leave the i8 out of this thread.
The C63 is a different kind of mistake; it royally cocked up one of the great sporting saloon legacies. From V8 legend with huge driver appeal to this uninspiring lard-ass that no one wants.

Now, not the same mistake, is it?
