Nope, it's not BMW F01 7er ... but the new Audi A8!

Interesting, I've found this picture on other BMW site... If Audi looks that good, then I can't imagine how 7er will look, which is years before Audi

Where do you see B&O?

B&O stands for Bang&Olufsen, a Danish audio/video manufacturers. It's well-known for its design, less for its sound. Speakers, amplifiers, CD-players, TVs.

The actual Audi A8 has an optional B&0 sound system, spectacular and it seems of an excellent sound quality.

Bang&Olufsen is overpriced, its not better then anything else. You mostly pay for the brand and design, not becuase you want the best.

B&O is mostly about design. For a comparable price, you can get something technically waay better from other (often less well-known) brands. But a B&O product usually looks beautiful and unique.

Concerning the A8, it seems a very good option though, better than HK's logic7, but not fancy and trendy: no Dolby or Home-Cinema effect like HK, but with a better stereo sound for music.

Well that's good to know....I think it looks really ugly and cheap. And the dials are wayyy to far apart with this screen in the middle.

BTW, it's very surprising how quiet the new A8 forum is. Still no idea of its look, interior, technology or anything...Only a pair of clueless PS, and some mules with modified D3 body on them...
Audi never lets any info before the unveiling... It's sad. No teasing, nothing, even worse than MB (where we at least can discuss the mules and spypics they let us see)...

Yes, it's always like that with Audi. Nothing, no info, only that the car will be unveiled in X months, and then suddenly the official presentation...Sadly, the car usually does not surprise anybody...

I hope the next A8 will not be a copy-paste of the actual Audi line-up (new A6 and A4)... The D3 A8 has a very elegant design, too close to the other, but it really suits it, much nicer than the other Audis I find. The A8 has something more.And it has a unique interior, completely different from the old or from the actual Audis interiors. I like that, and it's a superb interior.

I hope the next A8 will bet "set apart" from the other Audis. They must have a hard time trying to top the actual one, I find it has not aged at all, neither from the inside nor from the exterior!

Did you read what Eni said?. D4 A8 is going to be much more sportier, and i´ve been told by a reliable person that the new interior is close to the actual than to the new Audis design.

I remeber when D3 was presented, was so much more stylicised and modern than E65, and the interior looks better than both E65 and W220, so i really think D4 will be a stunner.

Korrrekt! The A8s, I drive from time to time (posted some pics of the 4.2 TDI and the 6.0 W12 sometime), are equipped w B&O soundsystems. Not too bad, but totally overpriced (but I have to admit that I'm a design-junkie - that's why I like B&O - and Scandinavian stuff in generall). When you listen to some fancy DnB-beats you can hear the speakers cracking. But it's less worse than the Harmann-Kardon soundsystem of my former 330 Convertible (E46) and the Bose of my Ex-A6 (4B).

Well, concerning sound-systems you put in your house... B&O may not be the best sound systems you can buy, but Bose surely is the worst you can buy. Usually bad finished, bad sounding, but very small and discreet... And HK is not really about clarity and beautiful sound, either. Power is their specialty (good for HC, less for music).

From all these brands that do stuff for the car, Dynaudio (Volvo) is excellent, Infinity (Jeep, Chrysler) not too bad and Mark Levinson (Lexus) excellent.

I've never heard what all these brands did for the cars. Only Infinity in Jeeps Grand Cherokee (a lot of bass and that's all), Bose in several Mercedes (good sound, not really impressive though), HK Logic7 in some Mercs and Beemers (same as Bose, good but not excellent).

I've never heard any really good factory sound-system. But you could use an Alpine radio with JBL speakers and you had an excellent sound quality for much less money. Now you can't or it would look like crap in the interior and its integrated radio...
