The BMW F01 is the fifth-generation 7 Series, produced from 2008 to 2015. The model range consisted of standard length and long wheelbase ("Li" models) sedans. Model codes: F01 (short-wheelbase), F02 (long-wheelbase), F03 (high-security), and F04 (ActiveHybrid). Production: 2008–2015.

Nope, it's not BMW F01 7er ... but the new Audi A8!
I think this picture isn't meant to show what colours BMW will use for dashboard, but how new displays and instrument panel will look. And that looks great, I hope its true

What exactly is appealing with this picture? The screen is oversized (has poor graphics unlike iDrive of today), the gauges look like they came off a sci-fi movie car. Neh, not buying it.

Agree, the plastics look cheap, the steering is a joke, the dials hard to read, the whole is tacky.
The big head-up display is not real, is it? Half your windscreen is a screen, no way i'd accept that. No way a camera replaces my eyes in my car. I'd never trust technology as much as relying on it to see where I'm going on a screen.
The few informations on actual BMW's HUD (speed, GPS arrow mainly) are good, more is too much.
Furthermore, so you'll have the big GPS screen, the big screen in the dials, the screen replacing half of your windscreen...

Well ofcourse I was merely being sarcastic because there is no way I would expect to see something that looks like a screen shot from "test drive 3" such an a such a high class premium car. Im also finding it very difficult to believe that its a pic the new A8, because if it is, then it would be a step backwards for Audi.
