Interesting comparison, but he didnt mention anything positive about the X7 or what it has over the GLS, which is been a bit unfair. He is totally a marketing guy and not looking at the driving experience instead of only just talking about the features or standard equipment. Its subjective, but maybe some people will like some things in the X7 more than the GLS.

Total BS video review. It’s okay to be a bit bias but he was totally biased no wonder it got more dislikes than likes. Even Lexus videos aren’t this cringeworthy. Not one singe positive thing about the X7, he made the benzblogger video look totally unbiased, which I didn’t think was even possible. The X7 is giving them sleepless nights, no doubt former GLS customers are going to get the X7.

Yeah, when he stated the split gate function on the X7 has no functionality i stopped taking him seriously.

Putting them side by side was the biggest mistake. The GLS looks like a school bus in comparison.

Why is this strange? Every BMW/MB/Audi dealer that reviews cars on YouTube is always biased. They are PR extension of their own brand.

When you have to bring a competitors model into your own showroom to showcase how ‘bad’ it is, I think you know who the true winner is...

Must be why the GLS is OUTSELLING the X7. Why would you post such a garbage video in the first place if for no other reason than to be able to post more pro-BMW nonsense here?

Must be why most dealers do nonsense like this. This isn't the work of BMW or MB USA.

And that's on the back of the GLS450 sales. Hopefully when the other variants are rolled out MB can keep sales at a healthy level. Amazing we haven't seen Designo interiors and the like yet for the U.S. market yet.

Given the launch dates and problematic production start up of the GLS, I think it's safe to say the X7 will have moved more units in most (if not all) markets in 2019. We haven't even gotten the GLS580 and other variants in the U.S. yet.

Probably true... There's always excuses :D

Claims about sales numbers should be easy to evidence, I wish people would.

Can it be the first comparison made?

This is one of the reviews that mention that the X7 is more comfortable for taller adults in the 2nd and 3rd row while it’s shorter than the GLS. BMW have a winner with the X7!

I think it's funny reading reviews that contradict each other. Meanwhile, Car and Driver said "And for the first time, the GLS is offered with second-row captain's chairs for easier access to the standard third row, which, while tight for tall folks, is considerably roomier than the BMW X7's."

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS Has Impressive Moves for a High-Tech Palace on Wheels

I have yet to climb into the third row of a new GLS, but I found the X7 to be comparable with the last-gen GLS.

What makes the review more precise is that unlike many other reviews they had both the cars at the same time back to back and the taller Jakub set in both and felt that the X7s seats were more comfortable at the back than the larger GLS.MBUX is always good until you use the iDrive. BMW have a winner with the X7!
