Very interesting to compare the two packages, but with the same wheel design. I think this particular wheel design suits the standard X7 perfectly, while the 5-spoke V pattern design (below) suits the M package better as it conveys a sense of lightness and the edgy design better matches the M-package.

It's not dark graphite metallic and it looks too light to be arctic grey.

Arctic Grey. It's lighter because of the artificial light in the auditorium.

To me precisely what I like the most is the exact combination of colors in those photos, the contrast of the exterior with the exterior exudes good taste

If there's any I would change/update it would the graphics in the rear light cluster. You look at the headlight cluster (with or without laser lights) and it looks sharp, expressive and cool, but the rear lights are just..... red. They don't look too different to what we've seen from BMW at least a generation (or two) ago. I know there are some layering details in there, but it could easily have been made to look more attractive and distinctive. Maybe give the not lighting parts a darker/smokey black color like what they've done with the 7er LCI. I guess the design was finalized/frozen before the 7er LCI or new 3er.
