Unless you can only afford the Focus!
Not a bad dilemma you'll have each morning on which car to take out! Congrats on your purchases!
Must admit I enjoyed the time I had in the Focus RS (albeit extremely limited) more than I did the M2.
But of course, I'd still have the M2 if I had to choose between the two.
Though I think I'd consider the manual over the DCT whereas I'd have said the opposite before the test drive.

or....you buy a Focus RS because you loved your Fiesta ST and want to trade up..there are a lot of reasons why you want to buy a Focus RS too.
A M2 is nice too but they are expensive, insurance costs are different and it only come with 2 years warranty. In Sweden Ford comes with a massive 5 years warranty. Good for secondhand buyers too.
BMW are cheap when it comes to warranties. Makes me wanna avoid a used M car.
My brand new motorcycle Yamaha also comes with 5 years warranty.

No it's not. Just another brand snob reply. There are people who prefer Focus RS over M2, no costs related at all.
RS is up there with the big boys. Don't be fooled to think the M2 is a superior car. Various reviews been nothing but praise. This says it all. Ford Focus RS - "got everything it takes to play the game at the same high level as Boxster S and M2. And that is an astonishing achievement.

The BMW M2 drives into Beijing for the Chinese market introduction.
On the eve of the Beijing Auto Show BMW held its annual M night with no more than four new M cars making their debut.
The BMW M4 GTS and BMW M2 and from M Performance the BMW X4 M40i and BMW M760LixDrive.
Held in a large auditorium it was a huge event and a symbol of how renowned BMW M is in China. And with the market in general devolving there are some segments evolving, two important segments being the compact/compact SUV/Crossovers. And two very important cars BMW X1Li and BMW Compact Sedan. With the two concepts being firsts for the Chinese market from a foreign manufacturer. The first extended crossover and the first market orientated vehicle that is not an existing model in the Compact Sedan. A first for China.
After Dr Ian Robertson addressed the audience to the announcement of BMWs Next 100 Years Event next week in Beijing. It was time for the BMW M2 to enter the stage, well four of them and they got to do their thing in concert with the visuals.

Last one promise! Then it was time for the BMW M CEO to talk figures.
Not just strategy and the outlook across Asia but also the price.
Yes it makes interesting figures when the currency is converted but like everywhere else across the globe the first years allocations are already sold.
And then the final curtain call as the rest of the BMW M and BMW M Performance cast joined the M2 on the stage with the promise of more including an exclusive M Performance variant of the upcoming Compact Sedan with xDrive after the production car debuts at the end of this year. Again a first for China.

OK. Not sure what the waiting times are in Belgium but in the UK and Holland they're very long. A Dutch dealer told me last week that anybody ordering one now would be lucky to get one at all. This may change though.
