I know but I meant the design cues.:) Just like F01 7-series has CS design cues.

Yeah this car will have some CS style cues as the CS represents the next design language of future BMWs but according to Scott and Eni's words the best implementation of CS cues will be the 8er:usa7uh:

as Eni and scott said the GINA will be the other pole of BMW design with the CS
just like the first bangle generation was a continuous dynamic segment from Z4 to 7er from sporties to the most vulgarely stately and luxurious, this will be no differrent, the GINA will preview the sporty pole and the CS previewed the stately pole
the epitom of both will be the production 8er GT and the Z8

I'm very curious about this concept. Can't wait to see it. I like the name Gina. Will there be a Sara, Michelle or Amber to follow?:D

First thing i thought of when i read the name GINA was Gina Wild. :icon_redf

lol Centurion.....I knew you would bite :D;)

Defender of the Panamera should be your title here on GCF

I first seen this car in a private studio. As I was standing with my cup of water from the nearby dispenser as the covers were pulled revealing this sleek roadster , I dropped it .

When unveiled you will understand why "Efficient Dynamics" will shape the future of BMW's performance cars.

You will understand the need for BMW to be "individual" from it's competitors.

You will understand what BMW's priorities and strategy is focused on.

You will understand why for this segment you have to be GroundBreaking and not play the cat and mouse game with competitors.

You will see the revitalisation and refocus of the Z-series

And most importantly after years of challenging , innovating and polarizing designs . You will understand Chris Bangle was on the right path all along.

Sounds very promising Scott. I can't wait, three days to go :eusa_pray
I hope that'll be the case with the design of the F01 too, btw!!!

Another hint:

To get the idea ... check the thread about BMW hybrid supercar - reported in May (?) issue of CAR magazine (they named it "BMW Z Vision").

And also have California Spyder & H2R concepts in mind as well.

These things, along with GINA teaser, will help you guys to survive the pressure of anticipation till June 10th. :D

I have a "million dollar question":

What does the name GINA mean? :usa7uh:

awesome! im stoked - i was pretty happy with that M1 hommage concept - i thought that was beautiful...this will be something else entirely though HOT!

GeorGINA? I have a friend called Georgina and I always call her Gina for short:usa7uh:

A mid engined car, a rear engined and front engined car - I think you have all the bases covered.

Anyway, I didn't know a 2+ ton GT competes with real sports cars.

As for the concept, love the proportions in this pic.

btw noob Q, whats the difference between mid engined, rear engined?
