FinallY! so this is the long awaited Z9 concept we have been disucssing forever? Cant wait to see the wrap come of this.

And the most interesting thing is that Scott says that the concept will go into production! It is very hard to have any feelings about a concept (or the like) if you know that they will never hit the floors.

This concept pretty much confirms that BMW has an R8/997TT/SL63 fighter up their sleeves.

A mid engined car, a rear engined and front engined car - I think you have all the bases covered.

Anyway, I didn't know a 2+ ton GT competes with real sports cars.

As for the concept, love the proportions in this pic.

What'll be most striking to my eyes will be a comparison of this concept to the Z9 Concepts shown back in 1999/2000 (which eventually led to the 6er).

Glad to hear that this concept will have design cues fromt he H2R Concept, coz damn do I love the H2R's lines.

Any idea if this concept will be shown before the new 7er, or after? ... seems a bit weird that two high-publicity models would be unveiled so close to one another.

This concept will be presented on June 10th at a BMW Museum re-opening ceremony. So, before F01 which will be presented in July.

I have no info whether Gina will be present in Paris alongside F01 & FL 3er.

@Marcus: BMW are still focused on sportier vehicles as well: 1er coupe & cabrio, new 8er: 4dr GT, Z2 small roadster, new Z8 roadster, Z8 based super-coupe, PAC (Progressive Activity Coupe = 5dr coupeish shooting brake based on 3er platform).
Not to mention various new M-models (eg. M3 sedan, M5 touring etc).

IMO some people are too much focused on BMW SAV & SAV based vehicles (X5, X3, X6, X1).

PS: Check the Z8-like wheels on GINA. ;) Z8 ... reborn.

Damn!!! :icondrool F me if i knew this is the 1st thing i'll see in the morning at GCF! Damn! The proportions looks stunning even though it's still covered and low profile promises this is something serious under.

Can't wait! :eusa_pray

:t-cheers:

Oh yes this is going to be hot! Trash bags have never looked so sexy. Both BMW and Mercedes are about to crush the market with big debuts in the coming months.

So this will be shown June 10th and the new 7-Series on July 7th, exciting times at BMW.

Hey layoff, this is the latest in keeping-the-media-clueless (ugly) spy ware...lol.

Yeah, true, but I doubt how much the 'nose-in-one-time-zone-ass-in-another' proportions are gonna change.

Well of course the proportions will be much better than this, this car will piss on every other GT when it's released:D

Is this also a hint at how the BMW competition to Panamera will look like?
