I'm not feeling it. It's absolutely indifferent to me. I'm finding it way to hard to adapt to the Neue Klasse era. I don't know what's wrong. Maybe if they tried unveiling it at the start of the week, rather than the end, maybe it would be more welcome. I don't know...

It has something doesn’t it … it’s fat and agressive . Rimms are stupendous.

Front , silhouette wheels , mirror stance , chefs kiss.

Rear , interior sad

Very interesting, entertaining assessment. Several nails hit squarely on the head IMHO.

Having seen the production front already, this is nice but far off what we will get.

Most of the design concepts presented look great though. Besides the weird simetry between front and rear bumpers.

Personally they should have led with the Touring as the M Concept. Two reasons why, Touring would show universal potential especially to new markets. And it would announce that there will be a Touring, and also a new M3 Touring.
Secondly, the Touring race car kinship would show a present-future commitment to developing high performance wagons.

You're absolutely right about those last 3%. If they f#ck that up the other 97% is pretty meaningless.

Obviously not just BMW, but the whole industry and every brand.

I disagree. Production Z4 and 8er Coupe were more than 3% different than the concepts, significantly different in proportions and as a result to this date I don't like them.

I think the production iM3 will be much closer to the concept proportionally and visually unlike those concepts.

The concept looks great. BMW obviously exaggerated its best details. It's too much of a concept idea to put directly into production as it is.
Assuming the first photo is the production version, it will be far more toned down and closer to the i3 sedan, and just as good as the concept IMO.

Yeah… I don’t know. Not sure why not release a concept closer to the production car. The real car looks good already.

More or less the same visually. Obviously conceptual trinkets make way for production. Has a really good performance face not as dramatic as the G80/G84. But will certainly stand out.

I cannot recall many cars in which the series production versions were highly accurate reflections of the preceding concepts. The 2003 M-B Vision CLS, the 2011 BMW Concept 6 series coupe (F12), the Audi etron GT at the L.A. show in late 2018, the 1999 M3 Concept (E46) at that year's IAA, the 1995 Audi TT Concept was very close as well.
