@ Just_me. Go duck a puck in the fark! :D Karma applied... Amazing skills that one has! I'm totally blown away.

Anyhoo, hey BMW, don't worry about showing the 1er M Coupe in a hurry anymore. I reckon that if it doesn't look exactly like this, then, if anything, it's not going to look as good. So, either we're seeing 99.99% of the real deal or what's to come will disappoint slightly.

Amazin' work, I just noticed one little error: There's still a sunroof.

Best regards,

When I saw those pics I fainted. Now I am missing a tooth, my jaw hurts and my keyboard is broken...thanks!:D

Where is the Carbon Fiber roof?

^ You mean that's not a real pic of the 1er M Coupe? It's so convincing! Sheesh, I'm getting old and/or the PSers are getting really good. I could send those pics to mates and they'd think they were 100% real.

I can't really see it either, but the simple fact that BMW has not made anything official yet makes it a PS by default.

And as said, after some inspection you can see the sunroof which will surely not be on the real car..

Sure had me fooled.:t-cheers:

Well sure, but our BMW insider did say that the car was shown internally at Paris and you know how easily stuff gets leaked these days. So, I got over-excited. :(

So, exclusively CFRP roof or do you think they may offer the tin-plus-glass option as per the E92?

Maybe like the E92, but they will probably introduce the car in hardcore style with CF roof..

The might just get rid of the sun-roof. I don't fully buy into that, but some reported that a CFRP roof would be too expensive for the 1M.

Scott did originally hint at a GTS/CSL inspired version sometime ago however I wonder if that too has been shelved due to project costs?

AnyhowI sure hope the CF roof will be available for the regular 1M and not just a GTS/CSL version.

Honestly, the latest CGs look like a real car, incredible job!!

PD: I assume they are from Gerard Alvarez (Alpine325ci).

Yeah some guys rock..
I mean this M5 had me fooled for a second:)

Yes they are. He made them for another forum and the members there helped him by suggesting stuff like adding the new tail light graphics. Good stuff!!!

There is a good chance the CFRP roof will make it. Over the years BMW has gradually filter them down the range, first it was the very limited and expensive E46 CSL, then it was the still expensive, but not as limited M6, and lastly the current M3, which cost half the price of the M6 and sold in greater volume. BMW is working on ways to reduce the cost of these light weight panels and we can see the result in the past few years, the next step will be to have it fitted on the 1M.

The first picture fooled me for a second but then I saw the signature. :usa7uh:
Now he (Alpine325ci) only needs to add the CF roof and make the M-badge a bit bigger.

That's an old concept car, the 1er Tii Concept, presented at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Show....
