But I can announce that selected Journalists have driven a final prototype at Miramas and you should see the results by later this week or early next

Is the subject to a press embargo or will the reviews be released as and when the journos have something to print?

The video was disappointing for me in two respects:

1. It takes the teaser concept to new levels (higher or lower - depends on you)
2. The wrong model was being stripped.

:)

LOL, indeed Martin!;)

Klier did you pay your deposit on the 1///M yet?:D

Little must have this one!:t-drive:

My rear quarter view rendering of the 1M Coupe.

This Rear quarter view rendering features:
- new 1M Coupe rear bumper
- staggered quad tip exhaust
- NEW LCI tailights
- “duck tail” trunk
- wider fenders
- 19″ M3 Competition package wheels
- redesigned side skirts
- larger front fender side vent
- Motorsport side view mirrors

Most of the details in the rear bumper have been revealed so not so much of guess work there. The side vent and skirts designs are still up in the air. But at least the position of the lightbar going across the side vent should be accurate. I also left out the rumored Carbon fiber roof on this one as there were no definite answers yet

And the updated front quarter view with the LCI headlights.

Holy crap :D:D

The only thing I hope will look slightly different are the gills on the side.

Haha, trust Jon to prematurely end the strip tease. The side vent looks overdone with the double slats, other wise awesome.

Thanks guys. I'm with you guys, not sure about the side vent designs either but just my best guess of what the "gills" meant as hinted by SCOTT27 somewhere in this thread.

I'm guessing that this detail will be the next to be teased (Nov. maybe?) until the big reveal on Dec.

Hmmm, so this is what Segler-era M's are going to look like?

Too much going on. My principle complaint are those vents aft of the front wheel.....just too many lines going every which way especially on a compact body. If this is what the real product is going to look like, I'm going to be disappointed.

On a side note, since the M6 is going to be designed under Segler's eye, I'm not looking forward to what they are going to do to clean but powerful lines of the 6er. As always, when it comes to my negative assumptions, I hope I'm wrong when both cars officially reveal themselves.

Once we know this detail, you can make your PS almost 100% accurate and we will not have to wait for BMW anymore :D

Looks M-Power! Thanks for the great contribution Jon. I hope it looks just like that! Fark. Hotness. Want.

OMG.....with all respect to Jon.... That's pretty much the perfect PS. The side gills are much better too like that! SICK!!

^ You mean that's not a real pic of the 1er M Coupe? It's so convincing! Sheesh, I'm getting old and/or the PSers are getting really good. I could send those pics to mates and they'd think they were 100% real.

Edit: No, c'mon guys, you're pulling the p!ss... surely these are pics of the real thing?

So that's it then. Being all drunk on 1M teasers my tolerance is currently pretty high to anything 1M related that BMW throws at me. Fantastically, BMW updated the tail light graphics and gifted the headlight units with eye brows. That should keep the car looking contemporary even after the new 1-series has been brought to market. Now I'm must see it in a different colour, I'm not too hot or this orange.

But most importantly I'm keen ont he spec sheet and driving footage.

*jaw dropping on the floor*

So..............that's a PS? Incredible, I could have never guess that and I've seem a wealth of shops in my life style. Now I'll forever be suspicious of any car picture I see.
