BMW 7er appeal

^Yeah but in this instance who gives a damn about when it was introduced in the US..
The cars are GERMAN, the S was introduced 05 and the 7er 08.. that is 3 years.

Historically it has almost forever been like this, when the 7er comes along the S mid life FL is around the corner.

So yeah its no mean feat to out sell a 7year old car in its LAST production year at all.

What the US has to do with that or not, is not of relevance.

Hence Who cares about the us?

The picture have nothing to do with my brain. I have small sisters and they act like you when someone annoyes they. Mercedes interios are different, Yes. But I don´t know if you understand that Mercedes is going the same way (Look at the pictures below). Mercedes is going the Revolution way and BMW the evolution way, this will change too and then BMW will surely satisfy you and dont will be so much similar.

When will this change? do you know something we do not know?
As all the damn spy shots i see of upcoming BMWs it seems like they are running with that same old interior design.
Opposed to the spy shots of the S class, where you can clearly see that it looks nothing like any other benz.

The CL is to the S what the 3 series coupe is to the 3 series sedan.

Does it make sense?

And does BMW bring new design with the 7er? Are you sure about that ? haha

I think its because the last 2 generations of 7-Series haven't been very well received, in the case of the E65/6 because of its styling, iDrive and the F01/02 because, at least in pre-FL form, was noticeably less comfortable and refined than its rivals, and because of how comparatively heavy it is can't claim to be the sportiest car in the class.

A better example would have been SLS, SL and SLK - all from very different price categories yet using very similar looking interiors.

Haha I should inform myself better? Do you realise that the F01 and the previous 7ers before the E65 did not start the BMW revolution of design, only the E65 did..and that was for the worse.

And yes the SLK and SLS have similar interiors, but nowhere near what the 5 and 7 has, the SL is not similar to the SLS and SLK.

The reasoning behind that is an idea MB has to make the SLK the mini SLR/SLS they did that with the previous SLR and SLK.
I do not like this. But thankfully its unique enough to make the SLS sell.

Hah right so it did NOT outsell the S class even in the S class last year.

The Audi A8 is just a damn disgrace, its the newest of the 3..and look at those numbers..

I wonder what they will take to when the new S is here.

The SLS and SLK are very similar, which i hate, does not matter that its Mercedes.

The SL is NOT similar to the 2 other.

And btw we were talking about why we think the 7er is not that appealing, not what mercedes does or does not do.

So i stand by what i said before, the interior is to similar to other BMWs, amongst other things like BMWs obvious problems to sell anything over a certain price range.
I belive there is a limit to how expensive cars BMW can sell, they tried in the past and failed.
I think this is one of the main reasons for them not to make a M7 or sports car.
The brand can not carry expensive vehicles

. I really like BMW so I do like Benz. In my Opinion Mercedes is going far away from looking good. At the Bangle time I doubt somebody is going to the Mercedes section to bring balance to the forum.
