This has replaced the S-Class as my fav sedan currently. It looks million times better than the 7er, eons away of the E-Class and definetly better than the XF.

Some order has been restored in the automotive world again, I now want a BMW, again. It has been years.

Best looking car in the segment.

Am I the only one who dislikes the new Angel Eyes? In photos, they look fine, but in real life, they're too bright and very after market. I'm sure BMW can lower the intensity a little.

Maybe I'm biased, but I prefer my old Angel Eyes :D.

I think you are... If they were old ones (of FL E60) i'd be pissed. When i saw my 1st F10 that was during afternoon, dusk... Only the rings were turned on and it looked amazing, i don't know how can you dislike them, but ok, your opinion...:usa7uh:

They look awesome, together with rear lights.:usa7uh:

Great looking car, and I love looking at pics of it. I have yet to see one on the road that really grabs me (one has so far kind of, actually), and I've yet to see the M-Pack in person, which should do the trick. Although, via pics, the M-Pack seems necessary everywhere but the front, it just looks too angular, and mismatched with the rest of the car, loses a bit of elegance (too "Darth Vader" IMO).

The other day I saw a black F10 with tinted windows, with a steel grey W212 behind it, really a site to behold, these two cars. I think the 2 have grabbed the classic traditional characters of their historic brands, and applied them in a modern and forward approach. Side by side, the 212 appeared far more raked/wedge-y, lower and leaner (non M-Pack F10), and the F10 appeared smoother, very graceful, and larger.

I prefer the 212, but I think if I were shopping right now, my 2 first picks would be the 212 and F10. And if I were to end up with either, I'd find the positive aspects of the one I have over the other to convince me that it was the superior car. I love the M-B brand more-so, and that obviously plays a factor in my choice between which I like more as well.

Reading up on comparisons of the cars from M-B and BMW owner Boards, it's almost hilarious at how people seem to love one and not the other, for the exact reasons that someone else loves the opposite one, and not the opposite one. I.e, these cars are really doing everything so well, and gravitating toward each other in being "everything in one" per-se, that favorites are being picked by even the smallest of personal preferences.

On a side note, I know of a guy who just traded in his '07 W221 AMG Pack for a FULLY Loaded 550i (M-Pack, AWD, every Option), and in his first week or so, says the 5 "blows the S away" (re: driving dynamics, tech, and noted that he got out of the S because he got tired of the size and wanted something more nimble), and gets tons more attention (typical of a "honeymoon period", will be curious how he feels 6 months or so down the road, and of course, the design is brand new w/ the S being 4 years old, so this type of attention at this stage should be expected).

My God, look at the gap between the wheel arch and wheel!

Strange how American cars have front fog lights (next to useless) yet no rear fog lights, a lot more useful.

Damn, that is a big gap. One thing I will say about the M-Wheels, in conjunction with the M-Pack, is they look tiny. The F10 is a big and big looking car, and the M-Pack, although very nice, is a bit ungainly, and it makes the wheels look like chicken legs. On the W212 (or example), the 18" stock wheels look more than appropriate with even the AMG Pack.

Either way, I'm loving that silver one. Can't wait to see it tomorrow. I've yet to see the M-Pack in person.

the rear diffuser looks tacky.

you can thank the NA market for the wheel gap. lol 'slap on some 20'z yo and slam dat bish'

I am only 34 years of age and I cant' believe I am saying this...I like this F10 M-Sportpack more that the new 6er Cabrio:eusa_doh:
