I think having the 5er without the alu buttons is a good way of differentiating the interior from the G11 one. I wouldn´t mind if not even the luxury line had it as an option.

Having them as an option never hurts, but I also think the black buttons have a sporty touch and maybe suit the 5er better. Still I want to see the luxury line interior too. Should really be a mini 7er.

Not a word btw. I actually now hear this 90kW e-motor thingy for the first time!
540i is supposed to be the top model at launch. Cars like the M550i, M550d and M550e will be a tad later I assume.

I did read in a magazine that BMW aims to have a 90KW electric motor housing in the transmission. The juice of the brand new battery should last up to 100km. So if they are ever about to make a 540i with this motor plus M-tune, it will give MB a run for their money.

You get the aluminium switchgear facings when you upgrade to the luxury line.
540i is the top line model for just now.

Spectacular. One of these things I have to do before I die. I love swimming and I love nature/animals, but scuba diving I have never done.
