The new BMW 5-series will bow at the Detroit auto show in January, and cars should arrive at U.S. dealers shortly thereafter.

C&D and Motortrend continue their BMW bashing. They've done that the last couple of years. Maybe they should forget about 10 year old bimmers and move on. UK mags have been a lot more positive about steering and chassi. So who is right??

Australian reviews have been consistently critical of BMW's suspension set up over the last 5-6 years UNLESS the optional adaptive dampers are fitted, which they claim are an absolute must.
