Let´s see what the F90 is like. It seems in terms of power they are not being as shy as with the F10 back in the day (560 PS always looked like a small jump to me).

I'm reminded of when Jeremy Clarkson reviewed the E60 M5 on Top Gear, and despite spending most of his time complaining about the Sat Nav and the indicators, part of his summary was this...
You want to take it on? Don't bother. It doesn't matter what you've got, what you've ever driven, this is faster, it's quicker, it's more astonishing.
That is what the next M5 needs to do, to invoke that kind of response.
Design is subjective and I still like the looks. Though I have to say the E60 aged far better.
And of course, the current 6er can only wish to drive as well as the E63 6er. Current car feels like a heavy boat compared to the last one.
And the new jump will be even less, because I don't think the standard F90 M5 will have more than 600 hp.
But that should be fine if they manage to keep the weight down, unlike the F10 M5.
Since a week i posted a pic and i said that the new bumper of m5 will be similar to the new m2Pitty we have that secondary character line out of nowhere.
EDIT: The new M front bumper seems to follow the M2 approach, with a secondary, larger, air intake shape above the traditional one. It might look a bit too much for a sedan right now, but the F10 M5 or the M4 looked really aggressive too with the first spy pics and ended up looking incredibly good when the cars were revealed.
Let´s see if the F90 M5 is as spectacular when the first pics arrive as was the E60 M5 when it debuted.

Guys since long time i said lets stop talking about the MBIf you take off your MB tinted glasses, you'll see the AMG and AMG package are virtually the same. Just like the different cars are virtually the same, and how a regular C AMG looks almost the same as a C63. It's all borderline boring.
If you think it's useless, don't post. We don't have to hear from you what's useless and what's not. We can decide that on our own.

Sorry to bother you with the G30 but this is what I just heard from a collegue: 5er GT indeed becomes 6er GT, significantly more dynamic in styling and only slightly shorter than SWB G11. 6er GC cancelled, is to be 'replaced' by the Dreamliner, prob. 8er.
Might indeed make sense based on the numbers and customer data I know.
