^Yeah in this segment you never said it..
But in others..i thought it would be valid in all segments for you..

Thank god you admitted that how a 7er/S/A8 drives isnt really relevant..

All of them drives well or even better than well enough..

So i guess its just up to what suits your eyes..

As it always should be in all segments (imo)

For ex..the M3 drives better than C63.. C63 drives well enough to kill someone..
And in my eyes it looks WAAAAy better..so i pick the C63:D

Sorry to disappoint you but it does not count in every segment :D
It does count in the size of 1er, Z4, 3er and 5-series is on the edge.

I pick M3 because of design, highreeving engine, manual gearbox and its a great allrounder. In the case 7er vs S-class, I pick 7er because of exterior, interior and good comfort. But again, noway I spend my money on a 7-series. Maybe when I'm getting older and wiser :D

The Brooklands and Azure are stunning, but I still and not too fond of the front. The grille is too narrow and the lights are too far apart and too big. Still stunning though.
Ther CGT and Flying Spur I really hate. I think they are very ugly and completely Bentely unworthy.

The Phantom is still a sight to behold. It's almost not a car in the same sense as all the others are. More like a carriage. The drophead and drophead coupé are sick, and the Ghost is high tech, very fast and ultra sleek...

I choose RR, but I'm happy Bentley is still around too, with very strong and healthy competition!

That front looks ok. Kind of silly looking. Surprised or something, don't know how to put it. The lights are too big, too far apargt and taking too much space in the front. The grille becomes too small because of all the space those headlights need.

I like this front much more:

Road Presence: None of these. Show me a S63/S65 AMG, blacked out. I hardly notice RRs and Bentleys considering how rare these are.

Besides, how much luxury does a man possibly want? At the end of the day, you're still sitting in a car = cramped space. Leather seats, sound system, and a lemony scent are enough luxury for me. :D

^Really?

I love the AMG S-classes as well, but Bentley and Rolls stand out much more on the road. They usually can stop traffic and are much more exclusive and less often seen by the public compared to the S-class, which you may see everyday or every other day.

I see an average of 2 Phantoms a month. The only reason I even notice them is 'cause I notice cars in general (I notice Mazda3s lol). Bentleys, I see a few more Continentals, but again they never really struck.

But I see AMG S's pretty rarely, and while they might look like a S500 to any ol layman, to me, good god they're as sexy as hell. That's hard to pull off in a full size luxury, and I think the S8 is the only other car of this type that looks as good.

But for crying out loud, what the hell's in a Phantom that's not in an AMG S that justifies a $250k markup? I must be missing something.

Lol

Exclusivity and Prestige are the justifications of the Phantom's price. Not to mention its huge size compared to the S-class.

I like driving myself, not being driven around, which is why I pick Bentley. You won't look stupid driving a Bentley Continental GT like you would driving a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
However, if this was for chauffeur driven cars, I would pick Rolls-Royce in a heartbeat just because of the unsurpassed road presence.

^^^^ Those are horrible, as ghastly as they tacky.

M

I'm with Merc1... Terrible, terrible, terrible

Rolls Royce should only allow customisation up to a certain point, that is just ridiculous.

^I agree...Bentleys have loads of charm and their attention to detail in the new Bentley is absolutely flawless.
