uhm okej but there is no point to pull out backseats out of a RS5, bmw didnt do that with CSL either. I wouldnt mind seeing a a hotter RS5 called something like RS5++.
Why should everything be so focused around the US market, let us europeans have some fun if BMW and MB can build lightweight cars then so can Audi. Give us Europeans more lightweight versions

In regards to Audi producing a light weight track version of it's models. That's fine with me, I just don't want them sold in the US. I value comfort and ombience over performance, if you can't mesh the two then I could careless about what track times you've accomplished!

Yes =) I'm not saying anything like that. If you want to interprit what i wrote like that, fine whit me, I relly do not care. But if you are interested in what I meant then here is - Audi have never made a car like the CSL, yet, but seeing how accomplished the S5 is there is little doubt that the upcomming RS5 will give any competition a run for their money. This includes the CSL. Even if it will never be as focused and probably never as fast, not counting in a straight line, as the CSL it will for sure not be far behind. There is competition this time, last time there was none what so ever from Mercedes or Audi.

Playing you out, no, not really but you do seem to miss some points in your argumentation and i see nothing wrong in pointing them out to you. You reacting frustratingly like this is just confirmation.

Why would you be "shocked" if I knew why the US did not get the best BMW ever built?

what are you talking about? Runflats sucks, nothing more to discuss regarding that.

Wrong the bridgestones that the beemer was wearing is a stickier compound than that of the dunlops. Performance wise they are superior but comfortwise inferior. Go google it.

Oh please man , are you trying to find excuses why both had the same laptime or whats going on here? I think its little far-fetched here. Neither of these tires are bad and the bridges isnt that much better that it affects the laptime very much.

I used to have similiar dunlop tyres on my car. Then I got some softer compound grippier tyres and the difference it makes is phenomenal. My eagle F1's let me go round a certain roundabout 15mph faster than with my old tyres.

and the S5 is using 19" and wider tires and quattro (and sportchassi?). You cant blame everything on the tires on the 335i, there's more to it than that. Heck, the 335i doenst even have a diff to help the traction. The traction control is interrupting on the 335i easily.

PS, there is no replacement for real tires, runflats is just a stupid invention, they do more harm than good.
