Autozeitung: Audi RS6 | BMW M5 | Jaguar XF-R | MB E 63 AMG | Porsche Panamera Turbo

^ martin: That is the wise thing to do , but I think you shouldn't be wise enough to drive this kind of cars :D

M5 is a gem, will definitely take it over all those! 5 years old & still stand fresh with all fancy newbies! :usa7uh:

I love everything of Panamera, apart from it's fugly shape! It's interior & power-train is to die for! :icondrool

The Porsche would be perfect if it weren't for the hatchback rear. Other then that, it's flawless especially in the performance department.

Somebody can't drive if they can't get an E63 to 60 mph in under 4.5 secs, those times are bs. Car and Driver, Road and Track all do better.

M

I wouldn't be surprised if these are the manufacturer claims. I've never had the impression that German car magazines seriously test 0-100 km/h times. As much as I hate Car and Driver they do their 0-60 tests really good.

RE: C&D
Unlike most European magazines, C&D corrects their performance numbers for weather conditions and elevation. Variations in track surfaces, break-in mileage, and tolerances in components can all affect 0-60 times. It doesn't have to come down to the driver (though it can).

Excuse me. BMW factory time for M5 isnt 4.6 seconds or 3.9 sec for Panamera. Just because its not the same time as C&D doesnt mean these are worthless. We know C&D meassure acceleration in a different way. They use a technique hardly anyone use in real life.
Christ boys, if I didnt know better you guys have a problem with these times because E63 didnt had the quickest time. :t-banghea

yea and make it a an automatic with launch control as in the case of E63 and the driver skill plays even lesser role.

- Panamera won the test and M5 on last place.
- M5 quicker than E63,RS6,XFR up to 200km/h
- M5 lost on the track with 0.01 seconds against E63
- M5 much higher slalom speed than E63,RS6,XFR.
- Panamera fastest in acceleration and the fastest car on the track.

I also read a swedish test between E63 and Panamera Turbo and the Panamera won that comparison as well. Panamera also scored better in 'driving comfort' than E63.

Panamera is winning every single test...

Auto motor sport test:Audi RS6

Audi RS6 :
0-100 km/h 4,7 s
0-160 km/h 10,1 s
0-200 km/h 15,6 s

Mercedes E 63 AMG:
0-100 km/h 4,5 s
0-160 km/h 9,8 s
0-200 km/h 14,9 s

Porsche Panamera Turbo:
0-100 km/h 4,2 s
0-160 km/h 9,5 s
0-200 km/h 14,9 s

^^ Those times are more like it.

Am I reading that other post right, the M5 lost to the E63 on a track?

M

Yep, and such a difference doesn't matter now right?

M

Not much of a difference really, its like one tyre length ahead ;):D
- RS6 quicker than M5 and E63 and if I recall correct, XFR also quicker than M5 and E63.
Panamera was like 2-3 seconds faster than all the others on the track, impressive for a weird looking car :D you an say the other cars were owned on this track.

M5 :
0 - 100 = 4.7
0 - 200 = 13.5

M5 rules ...already 5 years old n still faster than all the 3 above!!!
