The car is hot as hell, but the web in the grille is very weird and I don't like it. More like the W12 please.

The rear looks very nice. 450 hp is right considering its not an RS8. the RS6 will get 550 hp and the S6 will get 450 hp so they will probably share the same engine. Very good looking car.

oh yea of course, im just saying its only an S8 so it uses the same engine that will go in the next S6. If it was an RS8 it would probably use the engine in the next RS6 (550 hp)

There won't be an RS8 so i sure hope that S8 has the same engine with Gallardo which is producing 520 hp after the update.

When RS4 photo's were released, unoffical ones, they were of very poor quality, black and white to be exact and quite small. I think if these are in fact offical pics, they should be released tom. I'm suprised there's no link to the source of the photos. I really hope in addition to a stellar engine, that Recaro had a hand in the design of the seats, but from what I see so far(granted these are offical) they look like regular Audi seats. All in all, I'm pretty sure that I'll be very pleased w/ this car.

i must have some really hig expectations, but this car looks way to bland to be the S! I'd like to see more aggresiveness to it! Love the 8 model, but for an S8 its not enough!

very tasteful car thats luxurious yet sporty. I like it, I think its a bold design from Audi (for Audi) and will do well. But probably not. People would probably rather have an M5. Never the less this is a beautiful car. Probably the best looking Audi I have seen. Too bad its not just a little quicker... But very nice indeed.

That engine is very similar to the M5's V10. Its a little over 5 litres, is high reving and naturally aspirated, and the cylinder banks are opposed 90 degrees with one another...

That looks excellent, although I might have to say that the grill is maybe a bit too bold? The lines are too thick on the grill, but maybe I'm just being overly critical... Best A8 ever made

That grill is hideous. Looks like an egg crate. The performance numbers dont look that impressive either. Its only fractionally quicker to a hundred than an s500. Expect the w221 AMG's to blow this away in acceleration.

In that picture, the lines of the A8 also look somwhat dated already.

Wonder how well they've sorted the dynamics.
