Q7 Audi Q7 V12 TDI (Official pics & info)

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

But still: is this a final production version, or a concept car? :t-hands:
IMO it looks too BLING for a production version.

I thinks it production, wouldn't they announce it as a concept, if it was a concept?

Audi made the decision to show this model as a concept to attract more attention from public and media. The production version will be more down to earth as far as the interior is concerned. The exterior will be almost unchanged.

I hope those "gagnsta" rims won't be standard. :D

So, all-LED lights will be optional (and available later) as well, won't they (like on R8)? :t-hands:

Re: Q7 V12 TDI Debuts At Detroit

C'mon Let not over-react...it definitely does not KILL all competions. It's gorgeous but there are better looking SUVs. ;)

lol how can you shoot down his opinion and then lace it with your own.

Both of you have voiced your opinion on what is styling based alone, and beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Im sure to many this will be the most beautiful SUV in their eyes and no one should argue with that.

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

Damn the car looks nice and I hope the face lifted Q7 will look like that.

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

I'm sorry, I just don't believe this is a concept, this has to be a production vehicle, for one its not even been announced as a Concept. Car makers always announce concepts as concepts or they give them unique names like nuvolari or avantissimo.

Nope, they don't give concepts unique names when it comes to Production/Concepts.
The Audi all road quattro is a good example. Come on man, you really can't beleive that people who order a Q7 V12 will get one looking exactly like that white one?

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

Even the allroad they called the "Audi Allroad Quattro Concept" when they showed it. And yes I do believe it will look like that, its the top of the line model so it will get top of the line looks, if you think about it, nothing is really extraordinary about the looks, the lights are similar to the R8 ones, the only thing they might actually change IMO is the grill and perhaps the wheels, which are just chromed S6 rims.

This just looks like a Q7 with S brand styling to me, not a concept.

Great pictures Julius, thanks :usa7uh:

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

^^
Sure it isn't super extraordinary but it has a few very nice touches which makes it look slightly concept ish. Like the ledsin the head lights, the built in exhaust, the leds on the spoiler, the light bulbs in the tail lights, the seats and not to mention the interior details. It looks slicker than your average production car.
The real thing will look very similar but won't have some of the expensive touches.
