Q7 Audi Q7 V12 TDI (Official pics & info)

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

It looks good for an SUV ....but it is still a stupid car for most of the people who will buy it.

I can't wait for this SUV obsession to pass quickly. :t-crazy2:

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

I think the SUV's time has most definitely come and gone by now...

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

Noone noticed the magic sign in the instrument cluster?

G-Tronic (aka DSG)

Audi made the decision to show this model as a concept to attract more attention from public and media. As i was told the production version will look down to earth and the interior will have aluminium or carbon fibre trim and Recaro seats like all S and RS cars.

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

They should just make it an "RS7:. :D I also can't believe they got DSG to handle that much torque, good news for future performance Audi's.

Like you said this is not an easy job but since Veyron with all that massive torque can have a double clutch gearbox why not Q7?:D

Now i 'm hoping we will see this G-Tronic gearbox in RS6 too.

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

I'm speechless... this looks fantastic!! :icondrool

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

It looks fantastic. Especially in white, I'm starting to love that colour now.

I want to know though, is how different is this from the V12TDI Q7 presented earlier?

Looks like only the lights, rear, and grill were changed since the last time we saw this guy.

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

Isn't DSG an S-tronic? :t-hands:

This G-tronic looks like-meter. Measuring g-forces in all four directions. :t-hands:

That's what I was thinking...

also anyone notice the 220mph on the dash:eek2:

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

One question. Will it look exactly like that with those exhaust and led lights all over the place?

Re: Q7 V12 TDI featuring Bluetec Debuts At Detroit

My god...it looks absolutely stunning in white! But white looks only good in countries, where the sun is shining. No colour for nothern europe. :(

I totally agree with you and that white also looks great. Then dont even get me started on how good that interior looks with the dash all covered in matching leather and so on.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
