Hi guys, yesterday i went to a business trip with a customer, who has an Audi A6, 3.0tdi quattro.
He had a different air conditioning module, and i searced on internet, because i never saw it. It is dual-zone, with 4 knobs but has also the automatic function for the fan and the air distribution.
Could someone explain the difference?
I found this two pictures on internet and i'm referring to the second one.
Thanks so much guys in advace!

I suppose the first one is a 'Climatic' semi-automatic system. The second one is a fully automatic 'Climatronic'. As for the difference, I think you pretty much explained it yourself - with the fully automatic system, all you need to do is to set the desired temperature and the system will take care of the rest - fan speed and all that.

Thank you so much for the answer.
As you said the first one might me a semi-automatic version, but i saw in that car that you can set the temperature, put the fan on A, and put the air distribution on A.. That's the reason for my question.. I cannot fully understand the difference.. At first i tought that was an earlier version, but again, i know a lady in my neighboor that has a 2005 a6, and has the fully automatic, and the car where i sat, was a 2009..
I know, i'm a boring person because i want to know all this subtle details

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
