Down is the trend for the Germans in the coming years. They simply are not competitive in the EV market. None of them.

BMW rebadged ICE cars, where an EV 'M' car has like 500 (!!!!) less hp than a simple f'ing Tesla or Lucid.

MB horrible EQ line

VW even worse ID line

Get your act together or else......down down down we go. The plus of it all is that all the hundreds of thousands (millions probably) of employees of the German brands can seamlessly transfer to the defense industry and make tanks, drones and whatnot.

Mercedes has already stated they expect to sell up to 400k less vehicles per annum. It's going to be the overall profit and margin that we will need to look at to gauge the success of their strategy.

I wonder if manufacturers will blame for supply problems for this declining numbers.

Just yesterday I read that Target and Walmart are facing huge problems with increasing inventory. I know it's not automotive , but we can see a pattern , because they don't sell just grocery. They sale huge numbers of electronics...

Last year, the Taycan alone sold as much as the Model X and S combined. everything is not hp

For what it's worth in these turbulent, distorted times, both the Porsche Taycan and Audi eTron GT posted higher German registration numbers in May than the M-B EQS. Segment leader was the W/V223, followed by the Taycan and eTron GT respectively. I didn't see exact figures though, the source being a more unspecific article on AMuS online.

The Taycan's position did not surprise me-but that of the eTron GT did.

Last year, model S was not for sale for more than half the year and X was not for sale for pretty much the whole year. And even when on sale, pretty much only in US. Even now, AFAIK that is still largely the case. And this year, Q1 they sold 14k S and X just in US. Which is highly likely more than all the German EVs combined sold here in US. It is also more than all Porsche US Q1 sales combined (13k), let alone just Taycan.

I can confirm that . In a few days I will make one year since I made an order for Model X . And there is nowhere near . 2023 is somehow possible...

Uncertainties in production affect sales. Electric Mercedes models showed a general decline in May. The EQE is in good stock, with more than 800 delivered across Europe.

I imagine that it's a safe bet that the EQE will be a very successful automobile in terms of unit registrations.
