I really cannot stand someone going for the E-Class because the 5er looks like an upscaled 3er.

I just changed my vote from E Klasse to 5er. I didn't want to do this in a sneaky, covert way (for what it's worth).

I still don't understand why Mercedes don't offer the E with the classic grille in some markets (UK included). Takes the car to another level in luxury trims, which don't look as good with the standard sports grille.

Maybe an idea to replace your current (faulty still?) W222 with a nicely specced G30, and then change back to the W223 when it's ready??

And a W213 with classic grille truly is a sight to behold. Fixes the whole front! No more cheap shutlines, and it adds an elegant front that compliments the lines of the car just way better imho.

Ja, that thought has crossed my mind. But not back to the W223, but to the last batch of fully matured W222.
