A8/S8 2011 Audi A8 (D4) Picture Thread

Actually, through Pictures I've grown to really like this car. Unlike the A4 which gets worse and "less Premium/Euro" looking every time I see it.
Audi's were never really my thing, but I applaud them for not making the car look ridiculous like most other car makers. I actually don't think it looks boring either, as the surface detailing and clean proportions make it nice to look at.
For this Class though, I think it could use a liiitle more "boast". The mature buyers will go toward this car. This car looks perfect for an A6 though, i.e if the next A6 looks like this, it'll be a nice alternative to the challengingly styled E-Class.
The 7'er still does look a lot better though, IMO. W221 is one of my favorite cars out there, but the 7 might be my favorite car in its Class at the moment (probably at least tied with the S, i.e changes day to day).

Unbelievably that Audi has cars like the R8 or TT... the new A8 is sooooo boring, especially with the silver colour (pics from HoH).
In fact i have to shake my head while watching this car, otherwise i would fall asleep in one second.
In black it is only just acceptable, but again this ugly big front grille, looks like a cow going to eat grass. And these wowowow crazy crazy LED daylights, changing colour for blinking. Maybee that sounds good and tricky in the first moment, but when you see it in real life, it looks just ridiculous, the front look of the car looses his balance. (But yes, they do look much much better than those from the actual E-Class)
Okok, don´t kill me, i´m nearly finished with A8 bashing, i like those fog (?) lights for example.
But the inside... why do they put nearly the most knobs from the center console down?
You have to look down to use them, you will automatically look down! Is this good while driving?
And why no big flatscreen for the seedo and so on... i´m still waiting for this, in the S/CL from Merc it´s on a good way, but there are much more options that can be realized.
Anyway, i´m sure the A8 is a superb car, but it is as inexpressive like the 7 from Bavaria.
