Loved the interior first, but after seeing some more photos now, it's already so damn boring:

The LWB version isn't available at the moment…will come in a few month I think.

This is an A4, just that. There´s nothing wrong with a small size sedan to look like a big size one (ala C-Class), but on the contrary way it is just ridiculous.

I posted this earlier....And what I hear is that the interior in standard spec is NOT what people would expect...

I look forward to seeing this in person. I wonder if it will suffer the same fate as other newer Audi's and feel pretty 'unspecial' in standard spec. That fake 'aluminium' on the A4 is absolutely HORRID and is a complete joke if they think they are fooling anyone. I wonder if its the same material here.

Nah man, the 7er nor the S doesnt stand a chance against the A8 when it comes to the interior. Not even near.

What the car really needs is the black bar behind the plates like the other Audi's to break up that big ass grill. And headlights that doesn't look like it is out of B-grade hollywood production.

I have grown to like the car from other angles except this.

As for the interior, I think it has the nicest center console and seats. Rest of the interior, though made with excellent materials looks pretty boring.

To each his own for sure! I like the 7er more than the other two, by far
That cheap shiny plastic center console is horrible in particular. And of course that tiny ugly pop up screen. And all the lines going anywhere without direction. Not my cup of tea. At all.

Just that brakes the otherwise, not to bad interior - just that ruins the interior!
IMO 7er has the upper hand in TOTAL balance of design in and out

It may not pop, but its far from being ugly as many have said here. Its "nice" looking car, just doesn't have any adventure in the design.

Lower it, some good looking and bigger wheels, better looking exhaust pipes.
3 steps and this car is a "wow" car and looks much better.

The old model with the boring diesel exhaust pipes and small inch rims wasn't a super good looking and flashy car neither.

In my opinion the best photo of the new A8! Looks great here. This car definitely needs the 20' or 21' rims option…and quite interesting there is nothing A4ish left in these photos!

That interior is easily best in class IMO. Too bad we'll have to wait for the S8 to add some drama to the exterior.
