Video Games Which console's for you?

I need your help deciding on which gaming console to buy. I'm leaning towards the PS3, as it's not more expensive than the Xbox, when you throw in extras such as the wi-fi adapter and xbox box live membership.

When you vote, can you give a reason for why you voted for the console you did!

Price - A lot more expensive than any of these consoles and would have to be upgraded regually!

I like the 360 best. I had a 360 premium which I sold when I got a 360 Elite. I got the Elite version for the bigger hard drive and HDMI support. I also have a Wii (Christmas present for my daughters) and while I think the system is fun, the 360 suits my gaming tastes better. Plus it has HDTV support and the Wii doesn't.

I probably will get a PS3 in the future once Gran Turismo 5 and Killzone 2 come out. Those are only two games exclusive to the PS3 that I have to have. Plus it will give my a Blu Ray player

I mostly play strategy, RPG and MMOG games so the console offer little for me... PC is the way to go.

Before the 360 came out I would've said PC. I was one of those guys that was always upgrading his PC with the latest hardware so I could play the latest games with all graphic detail turn on/high and play at 1600 X 1200 resolution. But with how expensive high end video cards are getting ($650 and up) it got too expensive to change out my PC components every year.

I'd go for the XBOX 360. Why? Well, for starters, it's got an awesome operational system. Secondly, games such as:

These 3 will do for now. I don't have to use the big guns like MGS4, GT5, FFXIII & Versus FXIII, Killzone2, and Warhawk. All of these without paying a single penny to play online or forking over extra money to watch Hi-def movies. Thank you very much.

I don't know what the future will bring but right now XBOX 360 has around 150 games while PS3 only has a dousin.
Also 360 has killer games like Gears of War, Forza 2 , Call of Duty 3 , Guitar Hero II ect.

Furthermore XBOX Live is light years ahead of Sony's online.

That said i will buy a PS3 next Fall mainly for a Blu Ray player. I have also ordered this baby...

Please explain to me how XBL is better than a free service? And if you're gonna explain you better own both consoles.

All I will say is this...nothing beats not having to send your console in for service every other month. I'll take reliability, more technology and potential over a "let's beat 'em to the punch" untested piece of hardware anyday. Thanks...

I don't speak for everybody but with the two different 360s I've had, I haven't had a problem with either one of them. My first one I got the day they came out in November 2005. I had it for a year and a half and then sold it when I bought the Elite version of the 360.
